Kamilė Česnavičiūtė is a young Lithuanian artist from Vilnius who now works and resides in Groningen.
Mostly she creates paintings that are saturated in the field of color with addition of graphic elements, yet not visually complicated, but always with a narrative behind them.  Using figures as the visual subject. Inspired by the surrounding community or a passing of global events, her work reflects life onto a painted life. It becomes a relation between the existing here and finding a way to escape. Kamilė invites you to feast your eyes and go on a journey of interpretation and imagination.
